Join a video session

Open your practitioner’s video room link in a browser on a phone or computer, allow the camera and microphone, type your name, agree to the video session and ask to join. You wait privately until you are let in.
Step 1: A few minutes before your time, open the room link your practitioner gave you, or press Join the online session on your appointment page.
Step 2: When the browser asks, allow the camera and microphone. The page lets you check both before you join.
Step 3: Type your name as your practitioner knows you.
Step 4: Agree to the video session. Recording is a separate, optional tick: leave it empty if you do not agree to recording.
Step 5: Press Ask to join and wait. You will be let in when your practitioner is ready.
- People who are waiting never see each other.
- The video and sound go directly between your device and your practitioner’s, encrypted. They do not pass through a server that keeps them.
- The page is in English or French.
