Notes and AI drafting

Note formats, reviewing and signing, speakers, reports and letters.

• Note formats: DAP, SOAP, BIRP, GIRP, intake and couples

  Olive Grove drafts DAP (the default), SOAP, BIRP, GIRP, Comprehensive Intake / Biopsychosocial and Couples / Relational notes. Choose before the session, or rewrite the note in another format before you sign it.

• Review, correct and sign a draft note

  Each note is an AI draft for you to check. Read it against your memory of the session, use the review bar and the sources beside the note, correct it, and press Sign note. A signed note is locked; Unlock to amend keeps the signed version and asks why.

• Supervisor co-signature

  If you work under supervision, you can choose to have signed notes wait for your supervisor’s co-signature. They co-sign at your computer with their own PIN or password, or return the note with comments; or you send them a password-protected PDF and record their reply. The AI never co-signs.

• Who is speaking: speaker labels and voices

  Olive Grove separates the voices after each session and names them from voice signatures it learns. When a label is wrong, swap therapist and client, give any line to anyone, or work the labels out again from the audio.

• Check and fix your notes in bulk

  Check my notes looks through your notes for diagnosis, severity or risk wording that the session’s own transcript or notes never used. Fix flagged drafts in one go, and review signed notes on one screen before you re-sign them.

• Write reports and letters

  Write any of seven letters and reports from what is documented. You say who it is for, tick the sessions to use and fill the gaps only you know; it is written a section at a time, checked, and saved as a draft to edit, sign and export.

• Choose how the AI writes

  The AI runs on your computer. You choose its rules (such as only what was said), your own house rules, the approaches you use, what runs after each session, the language it writes in, and the model.
